During March, when a donation goal is met, our CCLS Day Services
Program Manager and Program Director will have to complete
hilarious and challenging dares and post them on our Facebook Page!
All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards funding activities, art
supplies, and meals for our Day Service clients. Donations can be made
on our website or at our Day Services Center!
$100: Hot pepper challenge
$200: Wear superhero costume to work
$400: Lip sync video to “Sweet Child of Mine”
$800: Staff will get a pie to the face
$2,000: Staff will receive mohawk hair cuts

Eats for the Arts to Happen April 03-13 Throughout Green Lake Area
Green Lake, Wis. (March 27, 2025) – Eats for the Arts Restaurant Days, an initiative
from the Thrasher Opera House, will kick off on Thursday, April 03, and continue
through Sunday, April 13. The event will feature participating restaurants around the
Green Lake area with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Thrasher Opera House, so
every bite you take helps to enrich our local arts scene! Eats for the Arts: Restaurant
Days aims to celebrate the culinary excellence in Green Lake, WI, and surrounding
areas! “Eats for the Arts is back for its second year, and we’re thrilled to bring the
community together again through great food and local support,” said Katie Menting,
Thrasher Opera House Director of Development. “It’s the perfect excuse to enjoy a meal
at one of our amazing participating restaurants while helping keep the arts alive in
Green Lake and the surrounding area. We’re so grateful for the restaurants and diners
who made this event a success!” Carrie Nolen owner of Sassafras Coffee in Green
Lake said “We were excited to participate in this event and bring a little extra buzz to the
coffee shop with specialty drinks inspired by staff favorites at Thrasher Opera House.

Thrasher Opera House’s mission is to promote the arts and the power of live performance, provide a community gathering place, and preserve the historic Thrasher Opera House—a charming, intimate, friendly venue with excellent acoustics. Built-in 1910, restored in 1997, and on the National Register of Historic Places. Seats two hundred.

- Come play in the Romper Room. Physical activity and human connections are important for healthy, happy human beings, and the Romper Room facilitates both! Focusing on active play, the room features trikes, foot-to-floor vehicles, a balance bike, tunnels, tumbling mats, balance beams, and more. The Romper Room, which is open during regular library hours, is most engaging for ages 2-6 years, though younger/older kids are welcome.
- Enjoy the always-available board games, toy library, and activity sheets located in the youth department.
- Visit the community table where there is always a puzzle in progress! Stay for a bit and place a few pieces or settle in for a longer session.
