SOULFUL JESSE ROPER MAKES FIRST APPEARANCE AT THRASHER OPERA HOUSE
Green Lake, Wis. (January 20, 2025) – Jesse Roper will perform at Thrasher Opera House in Green Lake, Wisconsin on Saturday, March 1st at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the show are $30 and are available at www.thrasheroperahouse.com.
Jesse Roper, the electrifying blues/Americana artist known for his modern, indie-infused blues and captivating live performances, is making waves once again. Renowned for his virtuosic guitar playing and magnetic stage presence, Roper has shared the spotlight with legends like Booker T. Jones, Colin James, Beth Hart, and Burton Cummings. Overcoming early career stage fright, Roper now commands the stage with the confidence and energy of a true six-string virtuoso, delivering performances that leave audiences spellbound.
Following the success of his critically acclaimed album Horizons—produced by JUNO-nominated Gus van Go (Metric, The Beaches, Arkells)—Roper is embarking on a bold new chapter. The Hymn Sing will be held at St. Paul’s UCC 1250 Leonard Point Rd Oshkosh WI 54904. Ann Lemmenes will direct the singing accompanied by Sarah Conrad on the organ. A speciel presentation by Marilyn Schrader and special music by Kellie Helmar and Evan Remillard will round out the afternoon. A free will offering will be taken. Refreshments follow the singing. The Low-Phe Life is an animated-documentary-comedy series about living with PKU—a rare
metabolic disorder. PKU or phenylketonuria inhibits a person’s ability to break down protein.
People with PKU, like Kurt Sensenbrenner the series’ director, must adhere to a strict low protein
diet of fruits and vegetables, and drink a supplemental formula multiple times a day for
their entire life to avoid serious neurological and physical side effects.
