Wisconsin Author Emily Conrad Chat and Signing
Event Name: Wisconsin Author Emily Conrad Chat and Signing Event Location: Caramel Crisp Corner Event Date: 12.13.2022 Start & End Time: 5 PM to 6 PM Event Details: Emily Conrad Wisconsin Author Chat and Book Signing Caramel Crisp Corner 200 City Center, Suite D Oshkosh, WI 54901 Tuesday, December 13th, 5 to 6 pmWisconsin author Emily Conrad writes about rock stars from a Christian world-view. Her goal is to entertain while exploring life’s relevant questions, such as those surrounding mental health, addiction, grief, and more.
Conrad first dreamed of becoming a novelist during middle school. She later studied creative writing at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Merging her love of story with her belief in Jesus, she draws ideas from biblical accounts when plotting her contemporary romances.
Her debut novel, Justice, was published by Pelican Book Group in 2018. She ventured into independent publishing in 2021 with To Bring You Back, which kicked off the Rhythms of Redemption Romances. Elements throughout the series were inspired by the people and events of King David’s life.To Believe in You, released in October, 2022, concludes the series with the story of Matt Visser, a famous bass guitarist who is one year into addiction recovery, and Lina Abbey, a rule-following heiress recovering from a painful betrayal. The connection between them grows, but finding love isn’t as simple as believing in each other. They must overcome their pasts before history repeats itself in all the worst ways.
Join Emily Conrad for an author chat at Caramel Crisp in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, from 5 – 6 PM on Tuesday, December 13th, to learn more about her publishing journey and the inspiration behind her series. Books will be available for purchase, and a time of question and answer will round out the evening.
