“This cutting edge, educational program is for adults who want to get as much information as they can from a variety of sources on a broad range of topics, before making decisions that are best for them as they age,” says Carolyn Schmidt, Programs Specialist for Waushara County. “Participants leave with actionable items every week that can help increase their well-being and help improve their overall outlook on aging.”

Easy to follow educational materials developed from highly trusted sources are provided, a checklist of potential next steps, and a system for tracking behaviors. The program was developed by the National Council on Aging (NCOA).

The workshop runs Thursdays from October 6th – November 10th, from 9:30 til 11:30 at the Waushara County Courthouse, Demonstration Room. Registration is required. Contact the Department of Aging for more information or to register for the program: (920) 787-0403.
