Closing the season on July 25 will be the Kip Jones Band playing music of all genres. Food and dessert concessions will be for sale at 5:30 with concerts beginning at 6:30.
Concerts will be held this year at West End Park except for the July 18th concert with the Beaver Dam Community Band which will be held at the Waupun Community Center. If your organization or business would like to participate, meet us on Waupaca Street (by Candle Freak) at 4:30pm and we will get you a spot in line. Follow us after the parade to the Waushara County Fairgrounds where we will have plenty of food, drinks, and activities for kids. Illegal Formation will play from 6pmdusk. There will be kiddy rides on Chippy the Train, donated by Evergreen Campsites along with the Wautoma Area Fire Department’s firetrucks, face painting and balloon animals created by Dizzy D the balloon twister donated by Gary Christensen & State Farm Insurance-Dopp Agency, and other kid’s games and activities. Another new activity this year will be a Cornhole Tournament. And of course, stick around for the area’s finest display of fireworks sponsored by various businesses and organizations. We hope to see you all there! Rain Date will be July 7th.

The Run for Sam 10K & 1 Mile Walk, presented by Princeton’s G.G. Mueller VFW Post 10452, will be held on Saturday, July 13th, beginning at 8:00 am. All proceeds from the event will be used to benefit the Sam Hennessee Scholarship. The event will include a 10K Run, a 1 Mile Walk, as well as a Free Kids Sprint, with music and awards held after the race. The race will start and finish at the VFW post in Princeton.

Habitat for Humanity of Green Lake, Marquette and Waushara Counties is gearing up for its 23rd Annual Community Rummage Sale to be held Saturday July 20th from 7:30 am to 2 pm at the Waushara County Fairgrounds. A concession stand with food and drinks will be open again this year to customers while shopping with all proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity. Not sure what to do with your rummage sale leftovers? They’ll take them! Donations of sellable items are greatly appreciated. Donations will be accepted Thursday July 18th from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm, Friday July 19th from 7:30 am to noon. Weiland Trucking has donated the use of a semi-trailer again this year and appointments MUST be made to drop off items prior to Wednesday July 17th by calling the Habitat for Humanity office Mondays 8:30 am to 12:30 pm (920) 787-2888. Donors will need to be able to load items into the trailer. TVs, computers, tires, exercise equipment, mattresses, toilets, box springs will NOT be accepted. NO PICK UPS. The Neshkoro Community Chorus was formed in 2008 by Wayne Doverspike, Marilyn Brockopp and Gayle Bodoh, all choral directors from the United Methodist, Lutheran and Catholic Churches.
Our founders were inspired to form a choir that would create beautiful music and bring our communities together.
The chorus is made up of 40-50 members who live in and around Neshkoro. Choir members travel from as far as Wautoma, Berlin, Princeton, Montello, Westfield and surrounding communities to participate in the choir.
Concerts are produced with the support of the Neshkoro Enhancement Committee.

This year’s series starts with the popular Del Rays playing the greatest music from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. July 11 will have Scotty Meyer playing the best of blues followed on July 18 with the Beaver Dam Community Band, directed by Erin Ebersole, playing Big Band sounds along with movie and patriotic themes. Closing the season on July 25 will be the Kip Jones Band playing music of all genres. Food and dessert concessions will be for sale at 5:30 with concerts beginning at 6:30.
Concerts will be held this year at West End Park except for the July 18th concert with the Beaver Dam Community Band which will be held at the Waupun Community Center. Bring your lawn chair or blanket. Food and dessert concessions by local service groups will be available at 5:30 with concerts beginning at 6:30.
