Ripon Public Library Upcoming Events-Adult Game Night – Modular Board

    18:00 -20:00
    March 20, 2018

    Tuesday, March 20 at 6:00 P.M.

Put your game face on and head over to the Ripon Public Library on Tuesday, March 20 at 6:00 P.M. for some kids-free, adult gaming! This month we will focus on games that use a modular board mechanism. Our feature game will be Betrayal at House on the Hill, but we will also have copies of Forbidden IslandForbidden DesertFive Tribesand Settlers of Catan available for participants to explore. What is a modular board game mechanism? As Board Game Geek describes it, “Game play occurs upon a modular board that is composed of multiple pieces, often tiles or cards. In many games, board placement is randomized, leading to different possibilities for strategy and exploration.”  For a game description, instructions and a video tutorial for our feature game, Betrayal at House on the Hill, please visit our website at https://www.riponlibrary.org/ModularBoard. Did we miss any modular board game you enjoy? Bring your favorites to share! Adult Game Night meets the third Tuesday of every month at 6:00 P.M.

Visit us on Facebook, www.facebook.com/RiponPublicLibrary, to preview our upcoming spring events!

These programs are free and open to the public. Call the library at 748-6160 or contact Mandy Sprague at msprague@riponlibrary.org for more information.
