Wisconsin author Valerie Biel (Circle of Nine fantasy series) visits the library this afternoon to discuss From Stone Circles to Fantasy Fiction: How Archaeology & History Inspire Modern Storytelling. Valerie and the audience will explore ancient monuments and ruins (mainly in Ireland) as she explain how the remnants of early civilizations helped her create an intriguing fictional world. A book signing will follow.

Pinterest Crafting Hour is an adults-only craft time dedicated to projects inspired by Pinterest. Design Pandora-inspired “glass” beads with metal inserts to fill out your favorite bracelet. Pinterest Adult Crafting Hour is a seasonal event with a Spring Series that runs March-May and a Fall Series that runs September-November on the third Thursdays of the month at 6:00 P.M.:
