MARCIA BALL RETURNS TO PLAY AT THRASHER OPERA HOUSE IN GREEN LAKE

Green Lake, Wis. (January 07, 2025) – Renowned blues and boogie-woogie pianist Marcia Ball is captivating audiences once again with her signature blend of Texas blues, Louisiana swamp rock, and heartfelt storytelling and will play Thrasher Opera House in Green Lake, Wisconsin on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the show are $35 and available at www.thrasheroperahouse.com.

Renowned blues and boogie-woogie pianist Marcia Ball is captivating audiences once again with her signature blend of Texas blues, Louisiana swamp rock, and heartfelt storytelling. With a career spanning over five decades, Ball remains a powerhouse in the blues world, known for her infectious energy, masterful piano playing, and soulful vocals.

A five-time Grammy nominee and recipient of the 2021 Living Blues Award for Most Outstanding Musician (Keyboard), Ball has carved out a legacy as one of the most dynamic performers in contemporary blues. Her music, deeply rooted in the Gulf Coast sound, seamlessly weaves together elements of rhythm and blues, zydeco, and boogie-woogie, creating an electrifying live experience.

This year, Ball is hitting the road with an extensive tour, bringing her foot-stomping, piano-pounding performances to fans across the country. Her setlists feature a mix of classic hits like “Red Beans,” “That’s Enough of That Stuff,” and “The Tattooed Lady and the Alligator Man,” alongside fresh new material that highlights her ever-evolving artistry.

“I’ve always believed that music has the power to bring people together, and I’m thrilled to be back on the road, sharing songs that make people dance, laugh, and feel something real,” says Ball.

Beyond her contributions to the blues world, Ball is also deeply involved in philanthropic efforts. She has been a strong advocate for musicians’ rights and disaster relief in the Gulf Coast region, using her platform to give back to the communities that have shaped her music.
