Comments: | I am Bill Rosenau, the County Veterans Service Officer for Waushara County. On 15 July 2023, the VA Medical Center in Tomah, Wisconsin is hosting a “PACT Act” Toxic Exposure Screening and Mini Fair day. If you are not familiar, the PACT Act was the largest piece of legislation in the history of the Veterans Administration which codified and expanded benefits for Veterans, specifically, those exposed to toxic substances, such as Radiation, Agent Orange, and primarily, Gulf War and subsequent war toxic exposures. The Bug and the Wave cover a portion of the target Veterans audience, and, if interested, I would like to put you in touch with the VA Medical Center, Tomah, Wisconsin’s Public Affairs Officer. They are looking to spread the word on this event to Veterans, their Dependents and their Survivors. Again, if interested, please drop me a line. |
