New Summer/Fall Season at Thrasher Opera House Released
Green Lake, Wis. (May 19, 2023) – An extensive mix of entertainers will perform at Thrasher Opera House this summer and fall. With a blend of past performers and new artists to debut at Thrasher, we are excited to welcome our guests to Summer/Fall Season. Thrasher Opera House Executive Director Rachael Avery says, “We’re looking forward to a fresh, new season that represents a variety of genres, from blues, singer/songwriters, rock n’ roll, jazz, and everything in between. We’ll welcome several new artists for the first time; others are fan favorites who will bring their talents back to the historical stage.” Tickets will go on sale for all shows on Friday, May 19, at 10:00 a.m. More information on all shows is available at www.thrasheroperahouse.com or by calling 920.294.4279

The Starling Shakespeare Company will present an outdoor performance of Julius Ceasar at Deacon Mills Park in Green Lake. Starling Shakespeare Company’s touring performances explore the playfulness, complexity, and humanity in the plays of William Shakespeare and his contemporaries.

Comedian Rhapsody is a new revue featuring the best sketch comedy and songs from Second City’s history, their latest classics, and trademark improvisation performed by The Second City Touring Company’s best and brightest…and funniest!

A composer, trumpet player and educator based in the Midwest, Dietrich’s newest project, “Paul Dietrich’s 5+4”, features a traditional jazz quintet alongside a string quartet. This concert serves as a CD release party and is co-hosted with the Green Lake Festival of Music.

A folk music band from Maine, known for their modern interpretation of traditional Acadian and Celtic music. The band incorporates a variety of instruments such as guitar, fiddle, mandolin, and percussion to create their unique sound.

A soulful sound that blends rock, blues, country, and folk influences, The Weight Band was formed in 2013 by former members of The Band. They perform original songs and covers of classic songs from The Band and other legendary artists.
