Ripon, WI- Ripon Public Library is excited to announce its July 2022 lineup of special events for all ages! Thanks to funding from the Friends of the library, events and special offerings are always free. Registration is not required unless noted.
July Programs
Singing Bowls by the Stream | Thu July 21 @ 2-3 pm | ADULTS
Join us for a relaxing hangout behind the library by Silver Creek while learning how to play singing bowls!
Water Art + STEM | Sat July 23 drop-in 10 am-noon | ALL AGES
Enjoy a variety of artist-inspired projects with a STEM component. Featuring marshmallow catapults for painting Jackson-Pollock-style works of art and more! Local artist Laura Pahlas offers hands-on guidance.
Funday Monday! | Earth, Music…Magic! | July 25 @ 6:30 -7:30 PM | ALL AGES
Don’t miss local musical legend Bill Kehl’s interactive performance on instruments from all over the world! It’s a concert unlike any other with global music plus fascinating insights about the discovery and development of musical instruments. Includes music, stories, & audience participation.
Drip & Swish Painting | Tues July 26 @ 2-4 pm |TEENS & Thu July 28 @ 6-7:30 pm | ADULTS
Make your own abstract work of art! By dripping paint onto a canvas and swishing it around with a paint brush, make a beautiful, custom art piece you’ll be proud to hang.

Romper Room
Physical activity and human connections are important for healthy, happy human beings, and the Romper Room facilitates both! Focusing on active play the room features a trike & trailer, foot-to-floor vehicles, a balance bike, tunnels, tumbling mats, balance beams, and more. The Romper Room is most engaging for ages 2-6 years. Reserve a play time with family and friends by the library.
Monday Matinees
Every Monday at 2:00 p.m. enjoy a newly released or classic film on the big screen. For movie title and rating call the library or check the website. Please note there will be no Monday Matinee on May 30th as the Library will be closed for Memorial Day.
Book Bites
Take a morsel-sized look at a great book with Adult & Teen Services Librarian Rachel. New episodes of Book Bites will be posted every two weeks on our Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram!

- General admission tickets for individual shows available in advance ONLY online.
- VIP tickets for individual shows available online or at advance ticket locations.
- Season passes (VIP or general admission) available online or at advance ticket locations.
- Advance ticket locations are the Oshkosh Chamber office, or Bank First locations in Oshkosh, Appleton and Green Bay.
- General admission free for veterans and children 12 and under, not applicable to VIP admission.
- “Standing Room Only VIP” is a fenced-off area directly in front of the stage, no chairs or umbrellas. You can be right up front! VIP ticket holders can enter or leave the VIP area throughout the show.
