Operation Backpack is underway!
The Boys & Girls Club of the Tri-County Area, in partnership with Green Lake County, presents 2019-2020 Operation Backpack. This campaign is “used to provide students in need with a backpack filled with back-to-school supplies.” If you would like to help a student in need and would like to contribute to this campaign, you can mail a check and make it payable to:

“Starting Wednesday, June 19, Nicolet National Bank presents the Live at Lunch series for 2019! This year marks the 17th year of bringing the community downtown for a free family friendly event showcasing some of our best local artists, restaurants, and businesses over the noon hour. Each day there will be a downtown restaurant catering lunch items for purchase. Shows run Wednesdays, June through August.”

Omro Thursday Night Market
Thursdays, June 6th through October 3rd, visit Scott Park for Omro’s weekly local market. Each market lasts from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Music Tonight
Mike SullivanWaupun Fine Arts Concerts in the Park
Waupun Fine Arts, Inc. again presents Concerts in the Park on Thursdays in July beginning July 4. This year’s series starts with the popular Del Rays playing the greatest music from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. July 11 will have Scotty Meyer playing the best of blues followed on July 18 with the Beaver Dam Community Band, directed by Erin Ebersole, playing Big Band sounds along with movie and patriotic themes. Closing the season on July 25 will be the Kip Jones Band playing music of all genres. Food and dessert concessions will be for sale at 5:30 with concerts beginning at 6:30.
Concerts will be held this year at West End Park except for the July 18th concert with the Beaver Dam Community Band which will be held at the Waupun Community Center. Bring your lawn chair or blanket. Food and dessert concessions by local service groups will be available at 5:30 with concerts beginning at 6:30. The rain venue is the Waupun Community Center, 510 East Spring Street. See you at Concerts in the Park for some great music, food and fun!

The Market at Town Square
Spend your Fridays in downtown Green Lake this summer at The Market at Town Square. The Market is described as “homegrown, handmade and organic,” as it “offers a festive atmosphere with the best in fresh-from-the-farm produce, meats and one-of-a-kind, handmade items from area artisans.” The Market at Town Square is held on Fridays from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the Green Lake Town Square Community Center, located at 492 Hill Street in Green Lake.

The Ripon Summer Concert series will be held at the Village Green in downtown Ripon. Head down every Friday night now through September 6th from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm to enjoy FREE entertainment.

Run for Sam 10K & 1 Mile Walk
The Run for Sam 10K & 1 Mile Walk, presented by Princeton’s G.G. Mueller VFW Post 10452, will be held on Saturday, July 13th, beginning at 8:00 am. All proceeds from the event will be used to benefit the Sam Hennessee Scholarship. The event will include a 10K Run, a 1 Mile Walk, as well as a Free Kids Sprint, with music and awards held after the race. The race will start and finish at the VFW post in Princeton.
Pre-registration is available through July 11th at a cost of $35. You can register online at www.active.com.
Onsite registration will also be available on July 12th and July 13th (Race Day) at a cost of $40.
Princeton Flea Market
The Princeton Flea Market, Central Wisconsin’s Largest Morning Outdoor Weekly Flea Market, will be held at 6:00 am every Saturday from April 20th through October 5th. The Flea Market is located at Princeton City Park at Highway 23/73.
There will be food and refreshments available. Parking and admission are free.

Saturday Arts & Crafts Market
Head on over to downtown Green Lake for the 2019 Saturday Arts & Crafts Market. Enjoy arts and crafts created by your own local vendors at this event, happening on Saturdays from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm in downtown Green Lake this summer. The Market is held in downtown Green Lake at 492 Hill Street at the Corner Store Artist Co-op.
