The 17th Annual Father’s Day Antique & Classic Car & Truck Show will be held on Sunday, June 16th from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at Bird Creek Park in Wautoma. In addition to the car show, there will also be food, beverages, and music, as well as a 50/50 cash raffle. This event has free parking and admission for spectators.

The awards presentation will begin at 2:30 pm, with 45 custom awards in 15 classifications and a Judges’ Choice Award presented. The vehicle entry charge is $10.

The 32nd Annual Ripon FFA Alumni Country Breakfast will be held on Sunday, June 16th from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at D & D Sunny Side Beef in Ripon. The breakfast is All-You-Can-Eat and will include Wisconsin Scrambled Omelets, pancakes, sausage, pork, cheese, fruit, and beverages of juice, milk, and coffee. There will also be free ice cream following breakfast. In addition to breakfast, there will also be activities for the whole family, with coloring books, an old tractor display, animals, and other activities for kids!

Operation Backpack is underway!

The Boys & Girls Club of the Tri-County Area, in partnership with Green Lake County, presents 2019-2020 Operation Backpack. Freedom Fest is Waushara County’s celebration of Independence Day sponsored by the Waushara Area Chamber of Commerce. The festival will be held on Saturday, July 6th with the parade beforehand at 5:00pm. The event will then continue on at the Waushara County Fairgrounds with food, entertainment and kids activities followed by one of the area’s finest displays of fireworks sponsored by various businesses and organizations. Each year the cost of the fireworks increases and raising the funds gets harder. To help offset some of these expenses, the WACC Board Members will be holding a Brat Fry at StoneRidge in Wautoma from 10am-2pm on Friday, June 21st. We’ll be serving up brats, burgers, and hot dogs. Come buy your lunch from us and help support Freedom Fest 2019 in the process, we hope to see you all there!

Spend your Fridays in downtown Green Lake this summer at The Market at Town Square. The Market is described as “homegrown, handmade and organic,” as it “offers a festive atmosphere with the best in fresh-from-the-farm produce, meats and one-of-a-kind, handmade items from area artisans.” The Market at Town Square is held on Fridays from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the Green Lake Town Square Community Center, located at 492 Hill Street in Green Lake.

A Benefit Haystack Supper will be held on Friday, June 21st from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Monroe Schmucker Farm.  Proceeds from the supper will be put toward community hospital bills. The supper will include homemade pies and ice cream.  All are welcome!

The Ripon Summer Concert series will be held at the Village Green in downtown Ripon.  Head down every Friday night now through September 6th from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm to enjoy FREE entertainment.

The Princeton Flea Market, Central Wisconsin’s Largest Morning Outdoor Weekly Flea Market, will be held at 6:00 am every Saturday from April 20th through October 5th. The Flea Market is located at Princeton City Park at Highway 23/73.

The Waushara Area ATV Association it set to host a fundraiser on Saturday, June 22nd from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Goode’s in West Bloomfield. The fundraiser will include at 50/50 raffle, brat fry, and raffle with a lot of great prizes. It’s Bruce Goode’s birthday then, and for his birthday gift, he is asking people to contribute to the ATV club.
