    Lit & Fit: A Walking Book Club 

    Ripon Public Library is pleased to announce its new walking book club, Lit & Fit. Start your day energized! Talk about what you’ve read lately and get new book suggestions during a morning walk with other readers. Adult/Teen Services Librarian, Mandy Sprague will be on hand share the latest updates about new books and offer reader’s advisory to get you hooked on your next read! Two sessions will be offered to suit participants needs: The Early Birds group will meet weekly on Thursdays at 6:30 A.M. starting on May 9 and the Mid-Morningers group will meet monthly on the fourth Thursday at 9 A.M. starting on May 23. Both Lit & Fit groups will meet in the library parking lot. Arrive a few minutes early to stretch and place a drink order at Mugs Coffeehouse for those wishing to purchase caffeinated beverages. Coffee orders will be picked up en route to the library at the end of our walk.

    Berlin Chamber of Commerce Presents: Chamber on Tap

    The Berlin Chamber of Commerce’s first Chamber on Tap event will be held on Thursday, May 30th from 5:15 pm to 7:00 pm in the Main Lobby of Fortifi Bank in Berlin.

    Chamber on Tap is described by the Berlin Chamber of Commerce as “a new after-hours business and community social hosted quarterly by local businesses and supported by the Berlin Chamber.” This event is an opportunity for community members stay informed with their local businesses. All community members are welcome, and food and beverages will be provided.

    Fortifi Bank is located at 140 W. Huron Street in Berlin.

    Waushara County:

    On Friday, May 31st the Waushara Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 3rd Annual WACC Golf Outing Fundraiser at Two Oaks North Golf Course to promote your business and benefit Chamber activities. This event is a 4-person scramble and will include 9 holes with a cart, raffles, hole event prizes, awards, and dinner catered by Two Oaks to follow golf for $49 per person. Registration will begin at 3:30pm on the 31st, with a shotgun start to follow at 4:30pm. If you can’t make it for golf but would like to join us for networking and dinner, it’s just $25.

    We are asking our members to help make this event a success by sponsoring a hole and/or contributing an item for a prize.     The Princeton Flea Market, Central Wisconsin’s Largest Morning Outdoor Weekly Flea Market, will be held at 6:00 am every Saturday from April 20th through October 5th. The Flea Market is located at Princeton City Park at Highway 23/73.

    Art All Around - Waupun Fine Arts Events

    Waupun Fine Arts is excited to participate for a second year in a celebration of the arts in cooperation with the Fond du Lac Visitor’s Bureau Art All Around 2019 event. WFA is planning on an event on June 1 as well as a continued silent auction and artist Gallery Exhibit through the end of July.

    WFA’s Creative Exchange event is a way to support local artists as well as a way to assist two very worthy causes in our community, REACH Waupun and Access 4 Recess.

    In addition to the Silent Auction for REACH Waupun, WFA is hosting a local artist exhibit in the WFA Gallery inside the library, and the Creative Exchange workshop at the library on June 1.

    Bingo at Ripon American Legion Post 43

    Bingo will be held at the Ripon American Legion Post 43 on Saturday, June 1st, starting at 6:00 pm. This will be a progressive jackpot game.

    Seating capacity for the event is 100.

    Ripon American Legion Post 43 is located at 133 E. Fond du Lac Street in Ripon.
