    P.O. Box 178 Berlin, WI 54923

CLUB GROUNDS ADDRESS: N312 HY 49 BERLIN

Berlin River Riders Inc., has served citizens and snowmobilers in the Berlin area for over 50 years. This summer, we’re aiming to raise community awareness and to fund our club above the lack of snowfall this past season.

On July 9th, 2022, we are hosting a Truck & Tractor Pull produced by N.E.W. Motorsports. N.E.W. Motorsports is a professional organization with lengthy history in our area and knows community involvement. They’ve made it simple to allow local contestants to compete in the activity safely.

At this event, we would be selling food and refreshments and would appreciate any donations of labor on the day of the event. Corporate shirts with non-controversial slogans will always be welcome on your volunteers. Or your staff, friends or family can always wear the provided official BRR event shirt which was a huge hit the last time we sponsored a very successful pull.

Please complete and return to show your interest in the July 9th, 2022 event. Your corporate or personal name will be listed on advertisements, and possible radio spots to promote the event. Think of the radio advertisement as a bonus for when we lock it in later. Thanks for your interest and hope to see you at another successful Berlin River Riders Inc. event.

    09:00 -12:00
    May 7, 2022
May 7th at 9a.m., Oshkosh North High School.  To register, go to namioshkosh.org or check out their Facebook page.
Our event, the NAMi Oshkosh 5k for Mental Health and Suicide Awareness, raises money to support, educate and advocate for those affected by mental illness. All of our services are free.

Mental health issues have taken on a larger profile; are there some examples or statistics on how NAMI is seeing that reflected?

Our phone calls for referrals, advice and requests for information have quadrupled during the pandemic. We know that there has been an increase in mental Health concerns. Fortunately, we have also seen an increase in mental health awareness. We hope this will reduce the stigma associated with mental illness.

How did the group adjust for not being able to do the walk in 2020 and having to alter it in 2020? (Fundraising impact, alternative programming)

We had a virtual event in 2020 and we had an outside-only event last year. In 2020, we made less money, but were still able to get our organization’s mission before the public.  In 2021, people seemed so eager to be able to take part in our 5K. It went well, but, of course, it was more difficult to make the event happen.

This year, it is harder to get corporations to make donations or the companies are giving smaller donations. We are still seeking partners and sponsors.  There are many ways for organizations and companies to be involved with our 5K.

Are there other updates or adjustments you have had to make since last year, whether related to COVID or not?

Everything program we offered was changed by the Covid 19 pandemic.  Groups, training, and classes could be offered virtually, but they are not nearly as effective.

Our fund-raising event will be bigger, better and more family friendly than ever.  We will have face-painting, balloon animals, mascots, informational booths, the Verve Photobooth, team pictures and an interesting program inside. After the 5K, on the lawn, participants will get free food from Jimmy Johns while listening to music from December Lotus Project.

Those interested in registering should go to RunSignUp.  Many people sign up as teams to honor someone living with a mental illness or to remember a person who died with one.

    Start & End Time:7:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Event Details:Combining the harmony of midwest Americana with singer-songwriter sensibility and outlining an acoustic instrumentation with a rock edge Rob Anthony is truly at home. His music reaches into the soul, grabs the struggles of the inner man, and weaves it into a solid personal connection between musician and listener.

A native of Wisconsin, Anthony’s career has spanned over twenty years and received numerous awards that have shown he understands the importance of evolution in a musician’s career. But to fully understand the heart of Rob Anthony, all one needs to do is listen to his music. His personal connection reaches out to everyone, transcending far beyond the typical muse of singer-songwriters.

It is within this heart that we discover Rob Anthony is more than a musician. His focus is community-wide and Anthony’s philanthropic pursuits dig as deep into the heart of America as his music. In Anthony’s own words, “The true measure of a successful artist is reflected in what is given back to the community.” And, give back he does. Anthony regularly supports various charitable organizations.

Anthony continues to perform and create with the understanding that music is the medium in which lives can be touched, changed, and understood.

Rob Anthony – Where rock and hope crash into craft and song.

      Event Date:May 7, 2022
      Start & End Time:7:30 PM – 9:30 PM
