All day
August 17, 2020

Bird Creek Park Story Walk
Come to Bird Creek Park for the StoryWalk® along the trail across from the playground and

mind & body. It’s a unique, self-directed activity for people of all ages which encourages
participants to read a children’s book in stages while walking along the Bird Creek Park
outdoor park trail. The StoryWalk® is a community effort led by the Waushara’s Vision
Committee’s Financial Wellness Workgroup, with many partners involved. StoryWalks® were
created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont and were developed in collaboration with

• COTM is a partnership between Vines & Rushes Winery and each organization to increase awareness of its purpose and raise funds.
• Each COTM organization will receive 25% of Food Sales from their given Monday and any additional cash donations from that night.
• Each organization will also have an opportunity to serve and interact with guests through front-end food service and share any marketing and communications material they may have.

Vines & Rushes serves Neapolitan style pizza from a wood-fired, brick oven. With an oven temp of around 750 degrees, and a bake time of 90 seconds, the time from ordering to receiving your pizza is very short. This allows for efficient food service in a spacious and family friendly environment.

Proceeds will go to support Ag in the Classroom program!

Wisconsin Ag in the Classroom program provides teaching resources and lesson plans to teachers and classroom volunteers to help K-12 students develop an understanding of how their food is grown and raised. The program seeks to work within existing curricula to provide basic information on the nation’s largest industry: agriculture.
