Ripon, WI – The Ripon Public Library’s lower level will reopen September 1 to allow for limited meeting room use as well as access to the digital piano and free book area.  There are several changes to note:

The Silver Creek and Nash Rooms will be available weekdays until 4 p.m. for socially distanced quiet study for students (middle school and older) and adults.  The Silver Creek Room has tables and chairs in rows and the Nash Room has comfortable chairs around the perimeter of the room.  Face coverings are required, one person per table/chair, furniture may not be moved, and the rooms will be monitored.

The Silver Creek and Nash Rooms will be available for group meetings beginning at 4 p.m. on weekdays and during open hours on weekends, and the Jorgenson Room will be available for meetings during all open hours.  Maximum capacity is 16 for the Silver Creek Room, 9 for the Nash Room, and 2 for the Jorgenson Room.  Groups must maintain social distancing, face coverings are required, no food allowed, furniture may not be moved, and the rooms will be monitored.  All meeting room reservations must be booked in advance with the library director.

The digital piano will be available, limit one person in the room at a time or multiple people from the same household, and may be booked with any staff member.

The free book area located in the lower level lobby will also be open beginning September 1.  People interested in browsing these shelves should check in at the front desk.
