Webster’s Marketplace, partnered with the Ripon Commonwealth Press and Express, is planning our annual Stock the Pantry event for the week of March 21st through March 27th.
Customers can purchase any non-perishable food items for donation to the local food pantry of their choice, and Webster’s Marketplace and the Ripon Commonwealth Press and Express will match the customer’s donation. Customers are asked to bring with them 2 of each item to the check out but will only be charged for 1, as the second is our donation. Both items will be placed in the food pantry’s box of your choice. We will also have special donation bags that we will match our guests’ choice of donation amount. They can choose a $5, $10, $20 or more donation, and Webster’s and The Ripon Commonwealth Press and Express will match the given amount. Some of the higher demand items include: peanut butter, cereal, Hamburger Helper, mac & cheese, any boxed meals, jelly, soups, canned vegetables, tuna or canned meat, canned fruit, diapers, toilet paper, paper towels.
Webster’s Marketplace is the grocer at the stop light on the west edge of Ripon on Hwy 23.
