The Mid-State Snowdrifters Snowmobile Club is hosting their 1st Annual Golf Outing this Sunday, September 18th at 10:30am at Two Oaks North. The format will be a 4-person scramble and will include 18 holes of golf with cart, dinner, hole event prizes, team prizes, and a chance to enjoy a beautiful fall day! Monday, September 19th, Community Blood Drive. The Wautoma Kiwanis Club will be sponsoring a blood drive on Monday, September 19th from 9am-6pm at the World War II Building in Wautoma.

Tuesday, September 20th, Small Business Development Seminar. On Tuesday, September 20th, the WACC will be hosting Nancy Mistele, from the Office of Business Development, for a Small Business Development Seminar. This seminar will be offered from 12-1:00pm at the World War II Building. Light refreshments will be provided but feel free to bring your lunch! If you’ve ever need help solving your problems, getting answers, or reducing red tap encounters with state government, then this event is for you. The Lt. Governor has coined the phrase ‘concierge service for business’ to describe the Office of Business Development. During the presentation you will learn about the services they offer and hear numerous examples of their success to date helping solve problems for business. This interactive program includes time for you to share stories, ask questions and understand how you can have an impact on rules to positively affect your business and industry. By the end of the program you’ll know why they are an essential addition to your rolodex!

A fundraiser to help pay for a fire fighters memorial that is being put up at their fire station.   They’re looking for golfers and donations.  Your help is appreciated! Tuscumbia Country Club & 680 North Restaurant.  $75 per golfer includes, 18 holes with cart & lunch. There will be hole prizes and raffles. “The 4th Saturday Lunch has a new name: Community Last Saturday Lunch. This lunch was started after the Tornado in 1992 and has continued through the years.  Area churches and civic organizations provide the meal.  Waushara County Residents are invited to come to this free meal held the last Saturday of the month.  Donations are welcome to help offset the cost of the meal.
