The Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin helped connect the DeMars family with the Stevens Point YMCA, securing a $4.25 million grant from Governor Evers, plus a matching grant from the Otto Bremer Trust.

    The topic of conversation will be focused on an opportunity that we think is relevant to Waushara County listeners: 
    Community Grants: Partner Cycle
    The Partner Grants process is designed for one-time requests from nonprofit or charitable groups. Applications may ask for up to $5,000 and must be focused on a particular project. This grant cycle is open to programs and projects in Portage and Waushara counties that align with our values and five mission areas. Up to $75,000 in Portage County and up to $30,000 in Waushara County will be distributed to our Partner grantees in total.
    Applications Open: January 1
    Applications Close: January 31
    Decision: Mid-March
