ALLY VENABLE BAND TO PLAY AT THRASHER IN GREEN LAKE
Green Lake, Wis. (May 05, 2025) – Texas blues-rock powerhouse Ally Venable is a force on today’s music scene, known for her soulful voice, searing guitar work, and electrifying stage presence. The Ally Venable Band makes a stop at Thrasher Opera House in Green Lake, Wisconsin on Thursday, June 05, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the show are $26 and available at www.thrasheroperahouse.com. VIP Happy Hour tickets are also available for this show for an additional $25.
A Kilgore, Texas native, Venable began singing in church at age four and formed her first band at thirteen. Influenced early on by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Venable quickly developed a style that blends gritty blues with modern rock energy. Her breakout came with 2019’s Texas Honey, which reached #2 on the Billboard Blues Chart and launched her onto Ruf’s European Blues Caravan tour. Praised by Guitar Player and Guitar World, Ally has since released Heart of Fire and earned accolades including the Road Warrior Award from the Independent Blues Music Awards. Now in her twenties, Venable continues to rise, touring the U.S., Canada, and Europe both headlining and supporting legends like Buddy Guy, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Colin James. Her high-energy performances and fierce guitar solos have landed her spots on the Experience Hendrix Tour and festival stages worldwide. With a new album produced by Grammy-winner Tom Hambridge, featuring Joe Bonamassa and a duet with Buddy Guy, Ally Venable proves she is not just the future of the blues—she is defining it now.
The Victor F. Braun Foundation presents this performance. The event is supported in part by grants from the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation, the Green Bay Packers Foundation, and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.
