Ripon Middle School proudly present, "Beauty and the Beast (Jr)"
Ripon Middle School proudly present, “Beauty and the Beast (Jr),” April 10-12 in the Ripon High School Auditorium.
Beauty and the Beast JR. tells the story of Belle, an adventurous young girl, and the Beast, her hideous captor who is actually a young prince trapped under a spell. In order to break the spell, the Beast must learn to love another and earn her love in return – before time runs out. With the help of the castle’s enchanted staff, including a loving teapot, a charming candelabra, and a nervous mantel clock, Belle and the Beast find a beautiful friendship and love that neither knew was possible. Beauty and the Beast JR. features classic songs from the Academy Award®-winning film score such as “Be Our Guest” and “Belle,” as well as original songs from the 1994 Tony®-nominated Broadway musical.
Performances are Thursday, April 10 and Friday, April 11 at 7pm, and Saturday, April 12 at 2pm. Doors open 30 minutes before each performance starts. The performances will be in the Ripon High School Auditorium, 850 Tiger Drive.
Tickets are $10 general admission, $5 for Students and ages 5 and under are free.
There will be a bake sale and 50/50 raffle during intermission, to help support the Ripon Middle School drama program.

GRAMMY Nominated All-Woman String Band Della Mae at Thrasher Opera House
Green Lake, Wis. (March 03, 2025) – One of the most powerful live bands in bluegrass/Americana, Della Mae, will perform at Thrasher Opera House in Green Lake, Wisconsin, on Thursday, April 10, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the show are $27.00 and available at www.thrasheroperahouse.com or by calling 920.294.4279.
Founding members Celia Woodsmith (lead vocalist/guitarist) and 2-time Grand National champion fiddle player Kimber Ludiker, along with guitarist Avril Smith, and two-time IBMA Bass Player of the Year Vickie Vaughn make up Della Mae. Reared in diverse musical styles, Della Mae is one of the most charismatic and engaging roots bands touring today. They have traveled to over thirty countries spreading peace and understanding through music. Their mission as a band is to highlight top female musicians, and to improve opportunities for women and girls through advocacy, mentorship, programming, and performance. Della Mae’s live show always includes covers by songwriters and artists they esteem as a playful treat.
