    MON | DEC 2 | 6:00-7:30 PM | JOE HATCHER PRESENTATION | ADULTS

Psychedelics first hit American culture in the 1950s and 1960s. Although they were often used recreationally, Psychologists and other mental health professionals lauded their effectiveness in therapy. In the last fifteen years, however, there has been a resurgence of research into the use of psychedelics for the treatment of depression, PTSD, and other mental health disorders. One notable exception is Ketamine. This talk provides an overview of the history of the current status of the use of psychedelics in therapy and addresses both relevant data and important controversies.
