Friends of the Library Used Book Sale, October 10-12
Ripon, WI – The Friends of the Ripon Public Library will hold its Fall Used Book Sale from October 10th through 12th in the basement of the library at 120 Jefferson Street. Thousands of books have been donated since the Spring Sale and those in the Last Chance Room are priced at 50 cents and as low as 10 cents for children’s books.
Featured displays this fall include “Wonders of the Far East” (books focusing on the culture and history of Japan and China), Little Golden Books, Christmas-themed books and DVDs, and collections of Amish and African books.
In the sale rooms shoppers will find both new releases and vintage editions for all ages, the usual huge selection of books for children, 100s of DVDs, a collection of Zane Grey novels, and many large print and nonfiction books.
Thursday, October 10: Book Sale open from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
$3 entry fee. All are welcome, and members of the Friends receive $3 off admission OR one purchase made during the book sale. Join the Friends to receive this member benefit!
Friday, October 11: Book Sale open from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Free admission.
Saturday, October 12: Book Sale open 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Free admission. $3 grocery bag sale in the Last Chance Room – the Showroom and Nash Room are excluded.
Cash and checks will be accepted along with credit cards for purchases over $10.
The mission of the Friends is to promote and support public resources and community programs at the Ripon Public Library and proceeds from the sale are used to support this mission. In the past year the Friends have assisted with funding the digital hoopla service, summer reading programs for all ages, free craft classes, gaming events, providing a copier for public use, and more. The Friends also maintain a Book Stop Shop in the main lobby of the library throughout the year. Join the Friends or renew your membership at the library.

| Event Details: | Shine like a STAR at the 2024 Dream BIG Gala! The Gala is the largest annual fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Wisconsin. The evening will feature the Bigs of the Year awards, live and silent auctions, raffles, entertainment, and a delectable meal. Tickets are $100 per person. Corporate full & half tables are available for purchase. 100% of the event proceeds go to supporting the mentoring programs we provide for our Littles and their families. |
