    Event Details:Come one and all and enjoy a day of music at the Peniel Welsh Chapel. We will begin with a worship service at 11:30 led by William Rhys Locke of Wales, UK. A sandwich luncheon will follow at 12:30 (RSVP suggested penielchapel1856@gmail.com). The 101st Annual Gymanfa Ganu, or Hymn Sing, will begin at 2:30. The singing will be directed by Rev. Locke, accompanied by Tom White and Sarah Conrad. If you are not inclined to sing along, please come and listen to the beautiful harmonies of the Welsh people and enjoy the accoustics in this quaint chapel built in 1856. Tea and coffee will be served following the Hymn Sing. A free-will offering will be taken.

    LakeApalooza set for September 02 in Green Lake

    Green Lake, Wis. (August 08, 2022) – Join in (rain or shine) for the annual LakeApalooza Community Street Dance on Saturday, September 02.  This is a family fun event that you do not want to miss! The fun begins at 3:00 pm downtown in the parking lot of the American Legion.  Live music by Gizzae (guh-zay) starts at 3:00 pm, pipes and drums entrance by Clan Donald, and the Davidson County Band at 7:00 pm.

    Come hungry, as there will be many food truck choices, including Osorio’s, Caribbean Taste, and Jamie Beach & Adams Rib BBQ. A full bar will be available outside the American Legion Post 306. Let’s end our Green Lake summer with a bang and enjoy it together in downtown Green Lake. Hope to see you there!
