HillBenders Bring Bluegrass to Thrasher Opera House in February

Green Lake, Wis. (January 23, 2023) – The progressive bluegrass band the HillBenders will return to Thrasher Opera House in Green Lake, Wisconsin, for their only Wisconsin appearance on their current tour, on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. Much like your favorite t-shirt, The HillBenders feel good. They don’t follow any old stigmas attached to bluegrass, creating a space to be themselves musically. For over ten years, the five original members have traveled coast to coast and around the world, spreading joy and excitement through music. The HillBenders have played the most elite stages in the festival circuit and the performing arts world. High-energy performances, a diverse catalog, and a slice of humor make way for what appears to be more of a brotherhood than a business – and each audience they play for becomes a part of that family.

Adam’s Rib of Green Lake generously sponsors the HillBenders show. This event is supported in part by a grant from the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Tickets for the HillBenders performance on February 11 at 7:30 p.m. are $25 and available at www.thrasheroperahouse.com or by calling 920.294.4279

Thrasher Opera House’s mission is to promote the arts and the power of live performance, provide a community gathering place, and preserve the historic Thrasher Opera House. A charming, intimate, friendly venue with excellent acoustics. Built-in 1910, restored in 1997, and on the National Register of Historic Places. Seats 200.
