    December 20, 2023

    DECEMBER SCHEDULE

Ripon, WI- Ripon Public Library is excited to announce its December lineup of events and offerings for all ages! Thanks to the Friends of the Library and other generous donors, programming is always free.

     REGULAR LIBRARY PROGRAMS

    WED DEC 20 | 6-8 PM | ADULT GAME NIGHT | Ages 16+

Calling all strategists, team players, and those who like to test their luck—enjoy an evening of tabletop board games! Staff will be on hand to teach and guide players through a variety of entertaining and easy-to-learn games with no experience necessary.

For December, we’re featuring The Quacks of Quedlinburg – a push-your-luck game of medieval quackery that won the 2018 Spiel des Jahres. Pull ingredients from your stock to make your pot bubble, but hopefully not explode!

Can’t make it? This recurring adult event (ages 16+) will be held in the Silver Creek Room on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

    DROP-IN BOREDOM BUSTERS

    • Come play in the Romper Room. Physical activity and human connections are important for healthy, happy human beings, and the Romper Room facilitates both! Focusing on active play, the room features trikes, foot-to-floor vehicles, a balance bike, tunnels, tumbling mats, balance beams, and more. The Romper Room is most engaging for ages 2-6 years, though younger/older kids are welcome. The Romper Room is always open during regular library hours. Drop-ins are welcome.
    • Visit the community table where there is always a puzzle in progress! Stay for a bit and place a few pieces or settle in for a longer session.

Visit the library’s website or follow Ripon Public Library on Facebook and Instagram for detailed information and the latest library news on programs and resources, or call a friendly librarian, 920-748-6160.
