Ripon, WI- Ripon Public Library is excited to announce its November lineup of events and offerings for all ages! Thanks to the Friends of the Library and other generous donors, programming is always free.
SAT NOV 18 @ 1-4 PM | TEEN PROGRAM | DUNGEONS & DRAGONS EVENT
Play a one-shot D&D campaign with other game lovers! Come in costume and be prepared for fun! Due to game type, this event will run for 3 hours.
MON NOV 20 @ 6-7:30 PM | ADULT LEARNING SERIES: PLANNING FOR YOUR FUTURE
Third in our new Adult Learning Series! Join local business leaders Kristy Martin, owner of Divine Passage Funeral Home and Emily Parks, estate planning lawyer, for a presentation on END-OF-LIFE preparations. Make it easier for your loved ones by planning for your death and beyond. A question-and-answer session will follow.

Copies of Verity are available for pickup at the library beginning October 23rd! Enjoy a lively and friendly discussion with other readers on November 27th. Discussion will be in-person and through Zoom meeting.
DROP-IN BOREDOM BUSTERS
· Come play in the Romper Room. Physical activity and human connections are important for healthy, happy human beings, and the Romper Room facilitates both! Focusing on active play, the room features trikes, foot-to-floor vehicles, a balance bike, tunnels, tumbling mats, balance beams, and more. The Romper Room is most engaging for ages 2-6 years, though younger/older kids are welcome. The Romper Room is always open during regular library hours. Drop-ins are welcome.
· Enjoy coloring and activity sheets, board games, and toys every day in the children’s department.
· Visit the jigsaw table where there is always a puzzle in progress! Stay for a bit and place a few pieces or settle in for a longer session.

Fall Season at Thrasher Opera House Released
New Summer/Fall Season at Thrasher Opera House Released
Green Lake, Wis. (May 19, 2023) – An extensive mix of entertainers will perform at Thrasher Opera House this summer and fall. With a blend of past performers and new artists to debut at Thrasher, we are excited to welcome our guests to Summer/Fall Season. Thrasher Opera House Executive Director Rachael Avery says, “We’re looking forward to a fresh, new season that represents a variety of genres, from blues, singer/songwriters, rock n’ roll, jazz, and everything in between. Peyton’s Big Damn Band | Doors and Bar 6:45 p.m. | Show 7:30 p.m. | Tickets $30 A raw and energetic blend of traditional country blues, folk, and rockabilly, often featuring Peyton’s fingerstyle guitar playing and Breezy’s percussive washboard. The band has released several albums and is known for their high-energy live shows.
December 15 | The Barefoot Movement – Holiday | Doors and Bar 6:45 p.m. | Show 7:30 p.m. | Tickets $25 The Barefoot Movement invites you to join them for their holiday celebration performance. Complete with all your classic seasonal favorites wrapped in a Christmas package; you’ll hear acoustic renditions of everything from Chuck Berry’s “Run Run Rudolph” to “Oh Holy Night.” Stories and Christmas memories from the band, the music, and cheer will fill you with an enduring feeling of love and hope that will warm your heart throughout the year!
Thrasher Opera House’s mission is to promote the arts and the power of live performance, provide a community gathering place, and preserve the historic Thrasher Opera House.
