New Summer/Fall Season at Thrasher Opera House Released

Green Lake, Wis. (May 19, 2023) – An extensive mix of entertainers will perform at Thrasher Opera House this summer and fall. With a blend of past performers and new artists to debut at Thrasher, we are excited to welcome our guests to Summer/Fall Season. Thrasher Opera House Executive Director Rachael Avery says, “We’re looking forward to a fresh, new season that represents a variety of genres, from blues, singer/songwriters, rock n’ roll, jazz, and everything in between. November 10 | Matt Schofield | Doors and Bar 6:45 p.m. | Show 7:30 p.m. | Tickets $26 Schofield’s dynamic and virtuosic playing style blends traditional blues with modern jazz and rock influences. “British Blues Guitarist of the Year” three times in a row from 2010 to 2012. He has toured extensively throughout Europe, the United States, and Australia.

November 11 | Damn Tall Buildings | Doors and Bar 6:45 p.m. | Show 7:30 p.m. | Tickets $25 DTB blends bluegrass with rock, pop, and Americana elements, resulting in a unique and modern take on the genre. Their music has been described as “a lively, inventive take on the old-school bluegrass tradition” and “a joyous, foot-stomping celebration of life.”

November 18 | Keep the Cheer Here | 1:00 p.m. | FREE Kick off the Holidays in Green Lake! Gather family & friends for a fun holiday photo op by Ric Damm Photography at 1 p.m., followed by a showing of The Polar Express at 2 p.m. Only 200 seats are available on a first-come basis, so come early to get a spot. December 15 | The Barefoot Movement – Holiday | Doors and Bar 6:45 p.m. | Show 7:30 p.m. | Tickets $25 The Barefoot Movement invites you to join them for their holiday celebration performance. Alt-Americana Trio Barnaby Bright will Perform at Thrasher Opera House

Green Lake, Wis. (October 16, 2023) – Barnaby Bright will perform on Saturday, November 04, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. at the historic Thrasher Opera House in Downtown Green Lake, WI.

Barnaby Bright, an alt-Americana trio, defies easy categorization with their unique blend of contemporary influences and a geographical journey from Brooklyn to Nashville to Kansas. Drawing on Nathan’s Oklahoma roots and his distant relation to Merle Haggard, the band creates a sound that pushes the boundaries of indie folk. Accumulating widespread acclaim, Barnaby Bright has secured a dedicated following who revels in their ability to weave storytelling into sonic treasures. Their presence on Amazon’s “Top 100 Albums of the Year” and the New York Times’ recognition of their Christmas record as one of the top 20 in 2020 further solidifies their artistry. Their live shows take audiences on a captivating journey, delving into murder ballads, love songs, thought-provoking stories, and deeply relatable themes.
