New Summer/Fall Season at Thrasher Opera House Released

Green Lake, Wis. (May 19, 2023) – An extensive mix of entertainers will perform at Thrasher Opera House this summer and fall. With a blend of past performers and new artists to debut at Thrasher, we are excited to welcome our guests to Summer/Fall Season. Thrasher Opera House Executive Director Rachael Avery says, “We’re looking forward to a fresh, new season that represents a variety of genres, from blues, singer/songwriters, rock n’ roll, jazz, and everything in between. October 14 | The Brit Pack | Doors and Bar 6:45 p.m. | Show 7:30 p.m. | Tickets $37 Taking their audience on a journey through a dynamic blend of British classics known and loved by all, including The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Queen, David Bowie, Elton John, The Who, Oasis, Radiohead, The Police, Amy Winehouse, and many more.

October 20 | The Arcadian Wild | Doors and Bar 6:45 p.m. | Show 7:30 p.m. | Tickets $25 A folk music band from Maine, known for their modern interpretation of traditional Acadian and Celtic music. The band incorporates a variety of instruments such as guitar, fiddle, mandolin, and percussion to create their unique sound.

October 27 | The Weight Band | Doors and Bar 6:45 p.m. | Show 7:30 p.m. | Tickets $38 A soulful sound that blends rock, blues, country, and folk influences, The Weight Band was formed in 2013 by former members of The Band. They perform original songs and covers of classic songs from The Band and other legendary artists.

November 04 | Barnaby Bright | Doors and Bar 6:45 p.m. | Show 7:30 p.m. | Tickets $27 Nathan’s melodic acoustic guitar finger tapping, and Becky’s effortless soaring vocals push the boundaries of today’s indie folk landscape. Their unique brand of “lush, chamber indie-folk” is a warm and welcome wind of change.

November 10 | Matt Schofield | Doors and Bar 6:45 p.m. | Show 7:30 p.m. | Tickets $26 Schofield’s dynamic and virtuosic playing style blends traditional blues with modern jazz and rock influences. “British Blues Guitarist of the Year” three times in a row from 2010 to 2012. He has toured extensively throughout Europe, the United States, and Australia.

November 11 | Damn Tall Buildings | Doors and Bar 6:45 p.m. | Show 7:30 p.m. | Tickets $25 DTB blends bluegrass with rock, pop, and Americana elements, resulting in a unique and modern take on the genre. Their music has been described as “a lively, inventive take on the old-school bluegrass tradition” and “a joyous, foot-stomping celebration of life.”

November 18 | Keep the Cheer Here | 1:00 p.m. | FREE Kick off the Holidays in Green Lake! Gather family & friends for a fun holiday photo op by Ric Damm Photography at 1 p.m., followed by a showing of The Polar Express at 2 p.m. Only 200 seats are available on a first-come basis, so come early to get a spot. December 09 | Rev. Peyton’s Big Damn Band | Doors and Bar 6:45 p.m. | Show 7:30 p.m. | Tickets $30 A raw and energetic blend of traditional country blues, folk, and rockabilly, often featuring Peyton’s fingerstyle guitar playing and Breezy’s percussive washboard. The band has released several albums and is known for their high-energy live shows.

December 15 | The Barefoot Movement – Holiday | Doors and Bar 6:45 p.m. | Show 7:30 p.m. | Tickets $25 The Barefoot Movement invites you to join them for their holiday celebration performance. Complete with all your classic seasonal favorites wrapped in a Christmas package; you’ll hear acoustic renditions of everything from Chuck Berry’s “Run Run Rudolph” to “Oh Holy Night.” Stories and Christmas memories from the band, the music, and cheer will fill you with an enduring feeling of love and hope that will warm your heart throughout the year!
