Ripon Noon Kiwanis Hosts Pancake Breakfast September 17th

The Ripon Noon Kiwanis will serve pancakes and sausage, with free toppings bar, Saturday, September 17 from 7-10:30 am on the Village Green, downtown Ripon.

The Ripon Noon Kiwanis is hosting its annual Pancake Breakfast, kicking off Septemberfest, Saturday, September 17th from 7-10:30 am. This year the pancake breakfast will be held outside on the Village Green (101 Seward St) in downtown Ripon.

“Kids need Kiwanis, in our community and around the world,” said Jeffrey Dodson, President of the Ripon Noon Kiwanis. “This year’s pancake breakfast will have the greatest impact for the children in our community; as proceeds from the Pancake Breakfast will benefit our new project to build an all-inclusive and accessible playground at Riggs County Park.”

The Noon Kiwanis will be serving pancakes, sausage, applesauce and an assortment of beverages.  The breakfast will also include a toppings bar with variety for goodies to top your pancakes.

Cost for the breakfast is $10; children 10 & under eat FREE!

The Noon Kiwanis will also be holding a coloring contest in conjunction with the Pancake Breakfast, open to children grades K-5.  Entries can be picked up (and dropped off) at the Ripon Chamber of Commerce Office and the Ripon Public Library; and can be downloaded from the Noon Kiwanis website, https://riponnoonkiwanis.org/pancake-breakfast. Entries must be received by September 14th.  Winners of the Kiwanis’ Septemberfest Coloring Contest will be on display throughout the Pancake Breakfast.

In the event of bad weather, the pancake breakfast will be held at the Ripon American Legion Hall, 113 E. Fond du Lac St.

The Ripon Noon Kiwanis supports many projects that benefit the youth in our community; such as the Toy Lending Library, the annual Children’s Fair, the Ripon Area Community Theatre, the Noon Kiwanis’ recurring scholarships for graduating seniors and much more.

The Ripon Noon Kiwanis meets Tuesdays at Noon in the Pickard Dining Room at the Ripon College and welcomes new members who want to serve their community.  Additional information about the Noon Kiwanis and the Pancake Breakfast can be found on their website, www.riponnoonkiwanis.com.
