Ripon Concert Series-Chicken Wire Empire
2022 Entertainment Schedule:
The concerts take place from 7:00 to 10:00 pm at The Village Green located at the corner of Watson and Seward Street (101 W. Seward Street). Concerts typically occur on Friday evenings, June through August, but occasionally bonus concerts are added or events rescheduled due to weather issues. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.
NO CARRY-INs are allowed in the park because beverage sales help cover entertainment expenses. Free music isn’t really free.

The Ripon Area Community Theatre (RACT) Spring production of “A Dolls House”
The Ripon Area Community Theatre (RACT) is proud to present their spring production of Henrik Ibsen’s dramatic classic, “A Dolls House,” June 10th-12th, in the Ripon High School auditorium.
Originally set in the 1879, the RACT have adapted the story to take place in the mid-20th century. “A Doll’s House,” follows Nora Helmer, a housewife with four small children, and her husband Torvald, who has just taken a high paying job as a bank manager. Nora’s dreams of the perfect prosperous life and marriage are disrupted when she is confronted with a secret she has been hiding from her husband; and fears it will ruin her happiness Nora struggles to understand her role in her marriage and in the world.
Directed by Kim Hansen-Sinclair and Linda De Jager, starring Alex Paulson, Brian Reilly, Melissa Gerber, Dean Shaffer, Dylan Schattschneider, Cheryl Iverson, Gwen Bartlett, Anna Brantley and Ellie Sinclair. “A Doll’s House” is PG, and contains allusions to suicide.
Performances are 7pm June 10th and 11th, and 2pm on June 12th; admission is $10, 12 and under are free. The RACT will be holding a 50/50 raffle during intermission.
