We ask that you please wear a face mask during the event when possible, adhere to proper social distancing recommended guidelines, and cooperate with any guidelines or restrictions merchants have in place at their establishment. The health and well-being of our patrons and businesses is our top priority. We sincerely appreciate your patience and continued support. The event takes place from 5:30 to 8:30 pm and features a selection of wines from around the world. Attendees may sample up to 20 different wines throughout the evening. Participating businesses include: check back for updates. Numerous businesses will be open late during the event to provide you with an adequate dose of shopping therapy. “Scooping the Loop” was a time honored tradition for many Riponites. For decades, local residents came together to drive their vehicles through historic downtown Ripon, Wisconsin and meet up with friends. Many great memories and lifelong relationships were created during this unique social gathering. For various reasons, the activity was banned from our community in 1992. We are pleased to announce the 3rd Annual Scooping the Loop event will take place from 5 to 9 pm on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021. All traffic laws will be strictly enforced. NO Burnouts!
Enjoy a FREE outdoor movie at the Village Green shown on a 25 foot inflatable screen with professional sound system. Come early and visit the unique shops and restaurants in the historic district, partake in Scooping the Loop from 5:00 to 9:00 pm, and complete the evening at the Village Green with a FREE outdoor movie.
Join the celebration by buying event tickets, raffle tickets,& making “Fund a Need” donations! Event tickets entitle guests to a Shine a Light event bag, complete with a lantern, wine tumblers, sparklers, & more.
Purchase raffle tickets to be entered to win airfare & a 5-night stay at an all-inclusive resort in Belize along with 15 other amazing prizes!
Fund a Need donations given in honor of this event will help support important lake-protecting work such as stream restorations, and invasive species monitoring & removal.
