Tails of the Fox River: Hands-on History for Families at the Princeton Public Library
Tues. July 20th, 6-8pm: Tails of the Fox River: Hands-on History for Families at the Princeton Public Library
Step back into the 1600s and meet French voyageurs (fur trappers) traveling the Fox River. They’ll show you their furs, tools, and huge canoe. They’ll tell you about the Native Americans they’ve met, and how they live. Try on a costume, touch a fox and badger pelt, and see real artifacts from the past! Free. Thank you to Jerry Disterhaft and Glen Gorsuch for this great program!
This event is part of our “Tails and Tales” summer reading program! Learn more at our website, princetonpublib.org.
