Event Details: Miss Teen Wisconsin US Agriculture will be visiting at Farm Wisconsin 9:00 am – 2:00 pm on Saturday February 6th.
Come in and visit with Miss Teen Wisconsin US Agriculture – Mckayla Green where she will be promoting her passion for agriculture.
Makayla will have a station set up with educational activities for the kids to do.
Entrance is regular priced admission- Includes Admission into Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center and the birthing barn!

Event Details: Millaine Wells, Local 5 Live co-host and host of Midwest Farm Weekly, will join us on Saturday, February 13 for our Agriculture Celebrity Story Time.
Millaine has a passion for agriculture that shines through in both of her television roles. Currently, she lives on a fifth-generation dairy farm in Kewaunee County with her husband Greg and two sons.
The story time will take place twice:

Afterwards, attendees can go through the Discovery Center and visit our Land O’Lakes Birthing Barn! Featured book will be available for purchase in the Farm House Store – while supplies last.

On February 13th , Coloma will host their Ride & Glide event for the cross-country ski and fat tire bike enthusiasts.
Race will begin at 10am at the Coloma Community Park.

Event Details: Ring in the Chinese New Year with a ginseng celebration led by Alice in Dairyland.
Plan to come early to reserve your seat – only 10 participants will be allowed in for each session. Pre-registration can be done online here.

Waushara Mobile Pantry Schedule for February
Organizers announce today that three sites will continue to provide no contact distribution
of food in Waushara County during the entire month of February 2021.
Residents interested in receiving FREE food are limited to visit one pantry site per week. This
food is available for ALL community members. No proof of identification, income, or other
information is required. When attending a drive-thru pantry, drivers remain in their vehicles
and volunteers place boxes of food in their trunk or back seat. Drivers are asked to make
space in their trunks to assist with this process.
Mobile sites have been serving Waushara County since last May. These pantries have been
provided by the Wisconsin’s Hunger Task Force and Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin in
partnership with Waushara County Food Pantry, the Waushara Prevention Council, Inc. and
the Waushara County Department of Human Services. Local agencies have been assisted by
an army of community volunteers along with businesses, community organizations and
municipalities who hosted and continue to host pantry sites.
For more information contact the Waushara Food Pantry at 715-869-3663. In the event of
inclement weather, cancellations will be announced on the Bug Radio 102.3 FM.
