Put the Triflemore concert on your calendar now: Saturday, March 14, 7 p.m! Triflemore is a transatlantic folk duo--one musician from small-town America and the other from one of Scotland's northernmost islands. You'll hear progressive folk infused with vintage British Isles folk, baroque, and Celtic. These singer-songwriters are dedicated to crafting a crisp, elegant interpretation of lo-fi simplicity. Their music is woven through and through with contemplative poetry and melodies, enhanced with a nod to more formal, traditional folk stylings. The evening begins with an optional potluck supper at 6 p.m. Mountain View is handicap friendly w/plenty of free, on-site parking. General admission tickets sold at door from 6:30 on.
