Hometown Broadcasting Community Calendar

The Neshkoro Community Center Pancake Breakfast will be held March 3, 2019 from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm. The event is sponsored by Waushara County Special Olympics 4-19,  and all proceeds will go to the running of the Neshkoro Community Center. The Center “hosts a number of activities for young and young at heart.” These activities include Blessings Community Closet, Craft Room, Pickleball, Massage, Yoga, Dance, Sewing, Drumming, a Place to have Meetings, Weddings, and more.

Harold’s Birthday Benefit Spaghetti Dinner will be held on Sunday, March 3rd from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Town Hall of Nekimi. Harold is a little boy who was diagnosed with ECHS 1 deficiency in February 2018, and all proceeds from the event will go towards research & treatment for ECHS-1 deficiency gene therapy. The A-U-C-E Fat Tuesday Spaghetti Supper will be on Tuesday, March 5th starting at 4:30pm. The dinner will be held at the All Saints Parish Hall in Berlin, and it will go until the food is gone. Salad, garlic bread, and desert will be served, and carry out will also available.  The cost is $8 for adults at the door, $4 for children under 10 & free for children under 5. In addition to the meal, there will also be a  50/50 drawing and pull tabs. Sponsored by Knights of Columbus & Berlin Council 1547.

Rough Cut Saloon will be hosting a fundraiser on Saturday, March 9th beginning at 10am. Ted has bone cancer and is currently driving weekly to Madison for blood transfusions. Soon, he will be traveling to Nashville for a bone marrow transplant. Stop out at Rough Cut Saloon to help support Ted and enjoy basket raffles, 50/50 raffles, brats, hamburger, hot dogs, chili, and live music by Tracy Voss from 1-4pm.
