Ripon Public Library-Books N’ Brew for Teens @ Mugs Coffeehouse
Tuesday, April 3 at 4:00 P.M.
Catch up with what other teen readers are enjoying on Tuesday, April 3 at 4:00 P.M. at Mugs Coffeehouse. Unlike traditional book clubs, there are no assigned books. Instead, read whatever you like and then share what you read. Adult/Teen Services Librarian, Mandy Sprague will be on hand to offer reader’s advisory to get you hooked on your next favorite read! This new teens-only (12+) reading group meets at Mugs Coffeehouse. The adult (ages 16+) version of this reading group meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

Ripon Medical Center offers Pyramid Workout

Join Brenda Chantelois, certified personal trainer and certified group fitness trainer, for a workout that begins with a high number of repetitions of each set, then a gradual decrease of repetitions – then reverse it and go back up the pyramid.
“Pyramid Workout” is scheduled on Tuesdays, April 3 to 24 from 6 to 7 p.m. in the RMC Wellness Center, 845 Parkside Street, Ripon.

Blue Zone Healthy Lifestyle Series
Stay tuned for Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Brenda Block’s upcoming Blue Zone Diets series at the Ripon Public Library. This series will explore the diets and lifestyles of those living in the Blue Zones – areas of the world where people are the healthiest and live the longest. People in these cultures often live to be 100 years and they remain healthy! Join us as we cover a different regional diet each month, Thursdays at 6:30 P.M. this winter and spring:
- April 5 – Loma Linda, California
- April 12 – Nicoya, Costa Rica
- May 10 – Ikaria, Greece

Blue Ribbon Kids Day
Planning is underway for Blue Ribbon Kid’s Day, a family fun and resource fair held in Waushara County each April during Child Abuse Prevention month. Blue Ribbon Kid’s Day will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at Parkside School in Wautoma.Blue Ribbon Kid’s Day attracts nearly 1000 parents, grandparents and children who learn and practice safety skills, discover area resources and enjoy a morning of free family focused fun. It is the largest free family event offered in Waushara County. Saturday, April 7th, 2018 Wautoma Kiwanis Autism Fun Run/Walk. The Wautoma Kiwanis is looking to generate awareness and fundraise for iPads and apps to distribute to local students on the autism spectrum at their fun run/walk on Saturday, April 7th at Parkside Middle School. There will be onsite walk/run registration and check-in from 8:30am-12:30pm that day. The 1 mile fun run/walk will start at 1:30pm with the 5k run/walk starting at 2:00pm.
