Third Annual Ripon Public Library Giving Campaign
Third Annual Ripon Public Library Giving Campaign
Ripon, WI – The Ripon Public Library is conducting its third annual giving campaign. While the Library’s operating budget continues to be supported by the City of Ripon, and the City provided funds for a new boiler and plumbing fixtures in the past year as well as funds for HVAC improvements in 2019, there is always more that can be done. Last year, the giving campaign raised nearly $7,000. The Library Board used a portion of the undesignated donations to purchase a digital piano for the Silver Creek Room and recently allocated funds to replace the flooring on the lower level in early 2019.
Funding for new initiatives, existing program support, and building maintenance are among the needs envisioned by the Library Board. The Library’s goal is to raise $10,000 during this campaign and, as of mid-December, the Library is more than halfway to its goal.
Contributions may be dropped off at the Library or mailed to Ripon Public Library, 120 Jefferson St., Ripon, WI 54971. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Any contribution, no matter how small, is appreciated and will help maintain an excellent Library and ensure that it remains a place that serves everyone.
