A United Way fundraiser will be held Thursday, November 16th at the City/County Government Center, 160 S. Macy Street Fond du Lac, on 1st floor in Rooms F, G and H. A Vendor Fair is scheduled from 10am until 2pm and will include these vendors: Gourmet Cupboard, Mary Kay, Modere, Norwex, Pampered Chef, Paparazzi Jewelry, Scentsy, Tatted Ensembles, Tupperware, Wildtree. Lunch be served from 11am until 1pm and will include a BBQ pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw and chips for $5.00. Raffle tickets will be available. Prizes include a double glider, lighted bean bag toss, Rolling Meadows Golf package and a scenic airplane ride. Drawing will be held at 1:00 on November 16. The Wautoma Rotary will be hosting Wautoma’s Christmas Parade on Thursday, November 30th. The parade line up will begin at 4:30pm on Park Street. The Parade will start at 5:30pm on Main Street by the Post Office and will continue West towards the WWII Memorial Building. Following the parade will be a tree lighting with Santa and hot chocolate and cookies provided by Mayor Nixon. Lighted floats are encouraged and there will be prizes for best entries. Santa has also accepted their invite to be in the parade. Businesses located on route and surrounding areas are also encouraged to light up store-fronts and decorate!
