Ages 1-5 with caregiver.  Put on your pjs, grab your trusty blanket, a favorite stuffed animal & a parent to snuggle with.  Then come enjoy an evening storytime that includes stories, songs, a craft & more.

For the 24th consecutive summer, the streets of downtown Ripon will be filled with the sound of music when the Ripon Summer Concert Series returns. This year’s series includes a greater variety of music than ever before. Organized by Ripon Main Street, Inc. The series typically takes place on Friday evenings, June through August, but occasionally bonus concerts are added or events rescheduled due to weather issues.  Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. No carry-ins are allowed in the park because beverage sales help cover entertainment expenses. Free music isn’t really free. A special Thank You goes out to the local businesses that sponsor the music series. Let them know you appreciate the financial commitment they have made to our community. We are grateful to have their support, because there would not be a concert series without their financial assistance. Ripon Main Street, Inc. invites you to enjoy an evening of entertainment in historic downtown Ripon and discover what makes our community so special.

Reverend Raven and the UW Marching Band.  Bring your lawn chairs, your favorite blanket and your appetite, and come on down to Deacon Mills Park for the always-free Concerts in the Park Series!  This week, we are welcoming the UW Marching Band AND Reverend Raven & the Chain Smoking Altar Boys!  Food and drinks will be available as well for purchase.  We hope to see you there for this year’s Family Picnic Night sponsored by Horicon Bank and Crossroads Grocery Store!  Green Lake Chamber of Commerce.  (920)294-3231.

Hillside Assembly Church in Ripon is hosting a Mexican Dinner (Una Mexican Cena) prepared by Rosa Rivera & Family. The menu consists of 2 Chicken Tacos or 1 Quesadilla or 1 Gordita with Refried Beans, Rice, Drinks & Deserts. $10 Tickets can be purchased at Door, or by calling Jairo Granados at 748-6487 or Mike Nichols at 748-6323.  Carryouts available !!This is to raise funds for The CICRIN Orphanage School (attended by approximately 77 Children). The project will be a 7th Grade Classroom or Bathrooms worked on by a 12 Person Missions Team led by Jairo Granados to the CICRIN Orphanage located on the Island of Ometepe, Nicaragua. Hillside has partnered with this Orphanage since 2002, and has assisted in Building Projects & Ministry efforts over the years.
