We will be holding the last Thursday Night Market in Fox & Hounds Park in honor of the north side ending road construction on October 4th from 4-7 pm. Come, celebrate with us! For those who missed the bridge re-opening ceremony on Aug. 9th Wondering why did we do this, it was a re-enactment from Omro’s bridge opening in the 1970’s a tradition which dates back to some of the first bridges in Omro. Thank you to Mayor Larry Wright, Ali Boese, Joyce Barkow, Poppy Princess and Cory for helping Future Omro pull this together.

Put on your imagination caps and create a scarecrow for Neshkoro’s annual Scarecrow Fest in downtown Neshkoro on Saturday, October 13th.
There are 3 categories: Business/Organizations, Individual, and kids.
1st prize $25, 2nd prize $15 and third prize of $10 for each category.
Along with the contest, they will have a petting zoo, refreshments, craft fair, and free face painting sponsored by Neshkoro Enhancement Committee from 10am-3pm.
You won’t want to miss this annual event! Enjoy tasty s’mores and outdoor games as the sun sets, followed by Informed Stargazing with Paul Kinzer, Star Lab Director. Join us at a new location for an improved viewing experience. Meet at the library with your vehicle at either 5:30 OR 5:45 P.M. to follow a lead car 20 minutes to a rural residence. High powered stargazing equipment, snacks, fire and games provided. Chair or blanket recommended.

All Saints Parish will hold its annual Harvest Dinner on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 14 in the Parish Social Hall on Highway 49 south of Berlin. An old-fashioned chicken dinner with all the trimmings, including homemade pie, will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Carry-outs will also be available. The dinner costs $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 5-10. Children under 5 eat free.
