Ripon Public Library Wonders Calendar Available

This holiday season the Ripon Public Library is selling Library Wonders calendars, a 12-month wall calendar featuring area children in settings inspired by favorite children’s books. Youth Services Librarian Linda DeCramer says Mary Shudy of Blue Bucket Photography came to her with the idea about doing a project for the library to support the youth department. “You know who is going to say no to an offer like that and then she came up this amazing and brilliant, beautiful idea to recreate children’s book scenes with area children.” Some of those books scenes are from classic children’s books like “The Cat in the Hat,” “Charlotte’s Web,” and “Winne the Pooh.” Proceeds will support a renovation at the library. Copies of the calendar are available at the Library, Back Porch Gatherings, Knuth Brewing Company, or Webster’s Marketplace. They can also be purchased online at the Library’s website.
