The criminal complaint against a 21-year-old former Ripon man who ran away with a 15-year-old Ripon girl to Arizona reveals more about child sexual exploitation and possession of child pornography charges filed against him. Those charges filed in Fond du Lac County court against Talin Ross do not stem from that trip to Arizona, but rather an FBI investigation into Ross’s online activities that was conducted in August of 2018. According to the criminal complaint Ross chatted online with an undercover agent during which Ross allegedly talked about having sex with 15-year-olds and assaulting other young girls. He also admitted to having a “bunch” of child porn and sent the agent a child porn video. He also urged the agent to send him sexual images of the agent’s 9-year-old daughter. Ross later admitted using a girl’s name as a user name because he reportedly believed people were more likely to send him more child porn images and videos. Based on the chats a search warrant was issued and Ross’s residence was searched on August 20th of last year. Agents allegedly recovered hundreds of child porn images and more than 90 videos. Ross was living in Berlin when 15-year-old Cassandra Marie Garza of Ripon ran away with him to Arizona.
