FDL Sex Offender Moves

A 55-year-old convicted sex offender is moving from Fond du Lac to N6621 County Highway K in the Town of Empire today. Fond du Lac County Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt says Jeffrey Abitz was convicted of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl. He also served time in prison for heroin trafficking and possession of narcotic drugs. Abitz will be on extended supervision until March of 2027 and will be on GPS monitoring the rest of his life.
