Ripon Mayor Gary Will Not Seeking Another Term

Ripon Mayor Gary Will won’t be seeking a sixth term as the city’s mayor. Will announced toward the end of Monday night’s Common Council meeting that he was filing his non-candidacy papers. Will said he’s served five terms and 10 years as mayor and it was time for someone else. He informed the council he was making the announcement early rather than wait until late December to give residents plenty of time to consider whether they would like to run for mayor. The seat will be up for election on April 7th. Will also serves on the Fond du Lac County Board.
