Dickens Holiday Parade Entries Sought

The Ripon Chamber of Commerce is seeking entrants for a new event associated with the 29th annual Dickens of a Christmas Weekend. The first ever Dickens Holiday Parade will be held on Friday evening, December 6th, beginning at 6:30 pm in Downtown Ripon. Parade entries can include local businesses, service organizations, civic organizations, school clubs, musical groups, and more. Ripon Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jason Mansmith says they are extremely excited for the opportunity to host the parade. Parade entries are encouraged to decorate their entry with as many lights as possible to “light up” the event. The parade route will begin at the corner of Thorne Street and Watson Street and continue north on Watson Street to E. Fond du Lac Street. A visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus will conclude the parade.
