Oshkosh Police Release Shooting Victims Names

Oshkosh Police now say the deaths of two people at a home in the 200 block of East Tennessee Avenue last week was a murder-suicide. Police say 55-year-old Paul Guerrero of Appleton shot 46-year-old Peggy Carpenter of Oshkosh multiple times killing her then died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police were dispatched to the home at 10:43 Thursday evening after neighbors heard gunshots. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office completed autopsies Monday and the Oshkosh Police Department in conjunction with the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office released the names of the victims after that.
