Two Dead In Oshkosh Incident

Oshkosh Police say there was a full response to the weapons call in the 200 block of East Tennessee Avenue Thursday night where the bodies of a man and a woman were found. A 46-year-old Oshkosh woman and 55-year-old Appleton man were found dead of gunshot wounds inside the home. There are no suspects and police say it was an isolated incident. There was a full response when it was learned gunshots had been heard. In addition to police, SWAT, a crisis negotiation team, accident investigation team, Oshkosh Fire Department, and Winnebago County Sheriff’s deputies responded. Officers were dispatched to the home at 10:43 Thursday evening.

Oshkosh Police are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman at a home in the 200 block of East Tennessee Avenue Thursday night. Officers were dispatched for a weapons call at 10:43 pm. They found the two dead inside the home. Police say they knew each other and it was an isolated incident that does not put the public in danger.
