The Packers were back on the practice field on Wednesday preparing for their game with the Cowboys in Dallas on Sunday where the Pack is 4-0 at AT & T Stadium.  The Packers are dealing with a number of injuries and question marks going into the game. Wide receiver Davante Adams missed practice for the second time this week due to a toe injury. Adams did rehab with Packers trainers during practice on Wednesday.

His availability for Sunday is unknown, although ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Monday that he is “unlikely” to play against the Dallas Cowboys.

The Packers are preparing to play without their star receiver but for Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, said he wouldn’t be surprised if Adams did play.  In other injury relaed news, starting right tackle Bryan Bulaga returned to practice on Wednesday. Bulaga left Thursday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles in the third quarter with a shoulder injury.   Defensive tackle Montravius Adams (shoulder) and safety Will Redmond (Concussion) also returned to the practice field on Wednesday.

Cornerback Kevin King (groin), running back Jamaal Williams (concussion), cornerback Tony Brown (hamstring) and outside linebacker Kyler Fackrell (shoulder) along with Adams, did not practice.

Meanwhile, Green Bay  released tight end Evan Baylis and signed outside linebacker Tim Williams off waivers. Baylis was brought up from the practice squad on Sept. 19 to add depth to the tight end room.  Williams, a 2017 third round draft pick out of Alabama, has two career sacks.

In Thursday Night Football, New Orleans host the Los Angeles Rams.  Both teams are 3-1.

In the American League Wild Card game last night, Yandy Diaz hit two of Tampa Bay’s four home runs to power the Rays to a 5-1 win over Oakland and advance on to meet the Houston Astros in an American League Divisional Series.

The National League Divisional Series begins later today as St. Louis plays at Atlanta.  The Cardinals send right-handed Miles Mikolas, who was 9-14 during the regular season against left-hander Dallas Keuchel, who was 8-8.  In the second game tonight Washington plays at Los Angeles.  The Nationals start left-hander Pat Corbin, 14-7 against the Dodgers right-hander Walker Buehler who finished up at 14-4.  The NLDS continues Friday.

The American League Divisional Series gets underway on Friday with Tampa Bay playing at Houston and Minnesota  at New York.
